[attr="class","kazu2"]Kazuya moves quickly from his last battle to this one. At this point, he felt the pounding of blood in his ears. The fire to win had been rekindled. And, after a few losses, he wished to redeem himself. Golden eyes were almost hawklike as they flicked from participant to participant. Eventually, they landed on a blue-haired man. “Natsu.” The bear turned to face his trainer. He nodded. With no further fanfare, the Bewear and his giant of a trainer approached.

This time there was no request. They had locked eyes. Both of them were here to battle. “I’m Kazuya Yoshida.” His voice came from his waist area. His lips moved briefly before stopping. These movements didn’t do much good unless he wanted to moan unintelligibly. The man bows from the waist. “Let’s battle.” Slamming his fists together, the Bewear steps up to the line now visible through the goggles.

A fated match. Almost no words were needed to convey the feelings these two trainers had, they wanted a fight and a fight is what they would get. Staring into the other trainer's eyes, Noel could see the spark of battle within them and his Bewear's. Noel doesn't return the bow as he thought it would be too awkward but instead he nods to them, eager to face the duo.[break][break]

"I'm Noel Parker, I'd love to have a match with you."[break][break]

His Shaymin stretches from atop its perch on Noel's shoulder, getting ready for another exciting match. Once ready, it springs out and lands onto the floor, standing idly by for the battle to properly begin. In another form of preparation, Noel presses the button on his Tera orb accessory. A mystical energy flows from out of it and travels towards his Shaymin, changing it to its Grass Tera.[break][break]

The young trainer smiles to his opponent, signaling to him that he was no ready.[break][break]

"Go ahead and make the first move as soon as you're ready."

[attr="class","kazu2"]Noel’s niceties receive a nod in response. “I hope you feel the same when the battle is over.” His lips tilt upward slightly, a smirk temporarily taking the place of composure. But this soon fades as he notices the grass type at the ranger’s feet.

The man’s brow raises as he notices the Shaymin. To the tiny creature, he directs a small bow. They are a spirit of healthy gardens and soils—a friend to florists and farmers alike. They are worthy of respect. Which, in this case, meant treating it like any other opponent. “As you wish.” The little device buzzed as he swept his arm toward the Shaymin.

The Bewear raced toward the little glowing hedgehog before his trainer spoke. “Ice punch.” Fist glowing with a bright, frigid light, the fighting type aimed for the Shaymin’s midsection.[break][break]

The Bewear swiftly launches itself into combat, starting things off with a hefty-looking punch made of frost, it aims to land a direct hit against Noel's Shaymin. Seeing the attack coming a mile away, it leaps to the skies in order to dodge the close quarters move. Wanting to keep its distance away for now as the giant bear seemed to be a mostly physical type of Pokemon, it would send off an Energy Ball to whittle away at their foe.[break][break]

Noel and his partner were no strangers to these types of situations. During their time in the tournament, they've had their fair share of experience battling against all kinds of opponents. Now it was time to put all of that to the test against Kazuya. He lets off a smile as well and looks into his eyes even from across the arena.[break][break]

"Looks like you know exactly what to do in order to put us down. Well we won't let you get any close! Shaymin, keep it up!"[break][break]

After the command, the hedgehog continues its volley of projectiles against the Bewear, staying aloft in the air still for a moment. But just as quickly as it took to the air, would it land soon onto the ground and be subjected to whatever their foe had planned next.

[attr="class","kazu2"]Again, their weakness against flying opponents rears its head. After this, there would be a lot of time devoted to ranged attacking. Though these sorts of attacks went against the ursine’s nature, they seemed more and more necessary. “Bring it back down.” The Bewear didn’t have much time to try and do so before it was under assault by a Gatling gun of Energy Balls.[break][break]

With a few lumbering steps, it managed to evade the first few. Then, its eyes caught on a rock near the outer boundaries of the battlefield. Good boy. Kazuya thought to himself as the Bewear forced himself into a sprint. One of the glowing projectiles hit him in the side, temporarily driving him to all fours as he rushed forward. Then, his claws wrapped along the oversized stone. [break][break]

Like a shield, he used the rock to try and keep most of the attacks at bay. Stone chipped away at it. When he noticed a lull, he used all of his Strength to catapult it at the Shaymin.

The Bewear was something akin to a wild beast. Using the boulder as a makeshift shield, it was able to fend off most of the damage that came its way. Then suddenly, it launches the rock into the air; with no way dodging, the Shaymin is left stranded in the air taking the stone full on to the face. It plummets down to the ground with a rough landing.[break][break]

Noel wondered if using such a weapon was against the tournament rules or not, but he decided to let it slip by. If their opponent was forced to use outside means, then they must be pressed for any sort of advantage. With confidence on their side, the Shaymin gets back on all fours, staring directly towards its foe with determination in its eyes. Its body began to radiate a green glow that encompassed the entire arena. Slowly it begins to fade as then whip-like projectiles shoot out in all directions, a Seed Flare that it releases in a frenzy.
